Solving vertical access problems in the chemical industry is not a problem for Alimak which through its rack and pinion elevator solutions provide the most reliable heavy-duty equipment in the industry. Solutions precisely designed and manufactured for the chemical industry taking in consideration both the erratic operating pattern and providing for a full range of quality spare parts and service.
One example is the five Alimak elevators operating at the Arab Potash Plant located on the shore of the Dead Sea in Jordan. The Alimak elevators are installed at the plant’s product dewatering structure, screen and compaction structure, product centrifuge and carnallite process.
Another example is at the Dormagen plant of Bayer AG, Germany, one of the world's biggest chemical groups. Since then Alimak has delivered a number of permanent elevators to the company which operates a total of five sites in Germany.
Alimak also supports in the construction of chemical plants with temporary vertical access solutions.
